EPSOM man Bruce Richards today announced on Social Media he had finished watching everything on Netflix. The 43 year old quit his position as a Barista 2 years ago to become a professional Netflix watcher.

“I started watching Breaking Bad and when I finished it suggested the Adventures of Milo and Otis so I watched that also. Before I knew it I couldn’t stop”. Two years later and now there’s nothing left to watch.

Things got so bad that he missed his own wedding. His fiancé flew to Bali for their honeymoon with her best friends. Remarkably they are still engaged.

“I even missed the birth of my first daughter but it was worth it” Mr Richards said. “My life dream is the Bendigo version of David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz but without the reviews. They’re my heroes”.

What does the future hold? “I am training for the 2020 Olympic Games in the new competitive binge watching event and have started watching everything on Stan. I’m training for 20 hours a day. I want to put Bendigo on the map. It needs to be known for more than dragons and Mosque Protestors”. Mr Richards said.

Next week, Mr Richards will be inducted in the Guinness Book of World Records. He said it’s a great honour.
