George Colombaris announced on social media today he cannot wait to start trying airline food on the Bendigo flights.
“I’m a huge fan of airline food,” he told The Bendigo Standard while rocking on the balls of his feet. “The sky chefs are incredible. They really let the emotions out in their cooking even from 50,000 feet while trying to impress their disapproving family.”
The TV chef, judge and food evangelist has praised the local cuisine for causing him to gain 20 kg’s for the next season of Masterchef. “The food is too good here. Sure you’ve got the Chinese museum and the Cathedral but my religion is food” he said.
He is planning on travelling to Sydney via Bendigo to film the next season of Masterchef. “I have a holiday home in Malmsbury so it’s easier to catch a Bendigo flight than a Melbourne one. I love the journey.”
When asked what food he was looking forward to the most, he said “I can’t wait to try the broccoli. It’s the hero of every dish.”
