Craig and Leia Temple have welcomed their new bundle of joy into the world.
Baby Corona arrived last Saturday after trying for a year.
The parents named their first newborn after he was conceived during the third lockdown. “We were stuck at home for two years with nothing to do.”
“We kept hearing the name Corona through lockdown and it kind of stuck” the happy couple said.
“We call him Cozza for short.”
The North Bendigo family has no regrets.
The couple told The Bendigo Standard they were not worried about the backlash. “What anyone chooses to name their baby is no one else’s business.“
