School Devises Bullshit Rationale For Mt Buller Camp

A local High School has unveiled an elaborate and entirely nonsensical rationale for sending its Year 10 students on a week-long camp to Mt Buller.

Citing “enhanced educational outcomes” and “unparalleled bonding opportunities,” the school’s principal explained that the trip would help students “find themselves” through the timeless educational practice of high-altitude snowboarding. “Nothing teaches resilience and teamwork like trying to avoid trees at 100 km/h,” they stated with an unsettling conviction.

“It’s like they finally figured out how to make school relevant,” said one eager student. “Or at least, how to disguise a holiday as education.”

The school has assured parents that there will be “strict supervision” by teachers who coincidentally happen to be avid skiers themselves.
