Couple’s 10th Cruise Celebrated With Massive Ocean Creatures Sing-A-Long

When Ron and Bev Huxley boarded their 10th cruise, little did they expect their milestone celebration to be celebrated with a full-scale underwater musical extravaganza starring none other than the ocean’s most melodious creatures.

Eyewitnesses say the show began when a pod of humpback whales launched into a surprisingly harmonious version of “Under the Sea,” joined by a choir of dolphins, squawking seagulls, and an enthusiastic if somewhat off-key octopus banging on a coral drum.

Bev told The Bendigo Standard, “They were halfway through the second verse of My Heart Will Go On when I locked eyes with a sea turtle who wanted to spoon me on the bow like Rose and Jack. He blinked real slow, and I knew he felt it too.”

Ron, however, was less enthusiastic. “Look, I didn’t mind the singing fish,” he said, “but when a manatee makes prolonged eye contact with you while crooning Endless Love, you start questioning your marriage and your species.”

As the Huxleys prepare for their 11th cruise to Africa, rumours are swirling about a possible cameo from a chorus of lions and jungle animals.
