Santa To Get Police Escort Through Long Gully

13 December 2018
in Law & Order, News
22 Santas Arrested In Santa Fight Club

The Bendigo Council announced plans last night to provide Santa with a police escort through Long Gully on Christmas Eve.

The news comes from the North Pole that it was flagged as a high risk non-Santa friendly place. Other high risk area’s for Santa include Ballarat, Frankston and Sunshine.

The police will escort Santa through Hercules St, Battery St and surrounding streets on Christmas Eve.

Last year Santa was robbed of his milk and cookies while travelling through the notorious area. He was rushed to Bendigo Health and was quickly released. This caused Santa to run behind on schedule and forced him to miss Shepparton, Echuca, and Albury.
