Amish rights activists have taken responsibility for the spate of power outages plaguing Bendigo this week.
Local Amish spokesperson Brother Jacob said “We do not like this electricity English. We prefer candles.”
News comes after a local Amish man was charged with accidentally knocking a local cyclist off his bike with his horse and carriage.
