First passenger on Qantas flight to Sydney didn’t actually need to go anywhere

A local woman who was one of the first to fly from Bendigo to Sydney,  revealed to her family friends last night that she didn’t actually need to go anywhere.

26-year-old Instagram influencer Julie Earcart, said “I had nowhere to be. I just wanted to be one of the first on the plane so I could brag to friends and my 300,000 Instagram followers #blessed.”

Ms Earcart planned to just wait around for the next flight and come back. “There are way too many people excited about going to Sydney,” she said.

“I didn’t even want to go to Sydney to see the bridge or even go shopping. Just fly.”

Ms Earcart admitted she already missed catching flights from Tullamarine. “I missed the 90 minute drive to Melbourne and paying more for parking.

“At least the Napier street upgrade doesn’t look as bad from 20000 feet,” she said.
