Pantomime Horse Wins Bendigo Cup AND Fashions On The Field

in Bendigo News, Sport

A Pantomime Horse has taken out this year’s Bendigo Cup and Fashions On The Field. Yes both.

The move has been nick named “The Dusty” after AFL’s Richmond’s Dustin Martin won the 2017 Brownlow and Coleman medals in the same year.

The winning horse She’s The Fastest was ridden by 2 time professional pantomime Jockey Max Biggins. Mr. Biggins is proud of how She’s The Fastest ran today “I’m proud of how She’s The Fastest ran today.”

Shortly after crossing the finish line, She’s The Fastest snapped in two. The doctors decided to put her down. Mr. Biggins was visibly upset. “We were just discussing what we would do with our winnings last night and now they’re gone to Pantomime Horsey Heaven.”

Upon hearing the news Daryl Braithwaite announced he will recorded a Charity single version of his hit song The Horses and donate the funds to “Pantomime Horses For Life” a not-for-profit organisation.
