Rod Fyffe’s Hair Receives Heritage Listing

The Victorian Heritage Council has today officially approved a request to place Rod Fyffe’s hair on the state heritage register. It’s approved for having cultural and historical significance.

Mayor Cr Jennifer Alden said “This is a great day, not only for Bendigo but the rest of the world. We are so proud. His hair is as iconic to Bendigo as Matt Damon is to America.”

As Bendigo continues to grow Mr Fyffe’s hair has stayed the same for the past 30 years. His snowy locks are inspired by Doc Brown in the Back To The Future trilogy.

“How good’s that?” said Eaglehawkian Rich Rose.

His hair has been added to the Australian Heritage Database.
