Woman At Work Accidentally Selects Herself As Secret Santa

Mike Elliott | Editor-in-chief by Mike Elliott | Editor-in-chief
16 November 2018
in Bendigo News

A Strathfieldsaye Woman accidentally drew her own name out of a hat for a work Kris Kringle this week. The woman chose to be anonymous so her Secret Santa didn’t know it was her.

Her work said there was a $25 limit but decided to break the rule and surprise herself with a new iPhone. “I can’t wait to open my gift in front of my work mates so they can see what I got myself. This is just a way for me to show myself how much I value myself as a valuable hard worker.”

Later it was revealed the Woman was a self-employed cat photographer so there was a 99% chance she would have drawn her own name out. She is looking forward to her work Christmas party and getting a pay raise from her boss.
