Commonwealth Games official Tom Strawberry said he was chuffed that the station was chosen as the official venue. “I’m chuffed.”

A local athlete and browbeater, Jake Thug, said, “I’ve been showing off my sick karate skills at the station for the last two years and have been arrested five times. I was even on Highway Patrol, twice, back in 2010.”

Victoria 2026 will run from 17-29 March 2026, with four regional hubs in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Gippsland to deliver a multi-city model that captures the hearts and minds of people across Victoria.
