The word hero gets thrown around willy-nilly a lot lately. But local legend Bill Wheeler has done the imaginable and added his name to The Rifle’s 100 Pint Club.

His best mate Jeff says “We started at the same time. I’m only up to my 20th glass. If he was an Aussie Avenger he’d be Captain Australia.”
What’s next for Bill? “I’m aiming for the 500 Pint Club. See how long my liver holds out.”
Surprisingly, he was still able to donate to the local blood drive.
