Pizza ATM Opens At Latrobe Uni

A high-tech Pizza ATM is the latest dining option for students at Bendigo Latrobe University.

It’s the first of its kind in Australia.

“We are always looking for innovative and new ways to provide services to our students here at Latrobe. It’s the future of pizza,” said Beardy Gibbins, Director of Student Services.

Pizzas are pre-made in the Latrobe kitchen and come with cheese, pepperoni, or Hawaiian toppings. They are then stored in a refrigeration unit inside the Pizza ATM. More topping options are expected in the future.

When a pizza is ordered, it automatically moves to the ATM’s internal oven and is baked until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted. It typically takes about three to four minutes. If you haven’t received it after 30 minutes your pizza is free. A 10-inch pizza costs $12 and will be available 24 hours a day.
