Notre Dame To Be Completed Before Napier St Upgrade

Notre dame burning

VicRoads has announced it that it will not be able to meet the July deadline to complete the Napier St upgrade.

“We’re working as fast as we can. I don’t see Bevan from who actually lives on the street offering to put down his durry and give us a hand” said VicRoads’ Frank Cruck.

“We have no idea when it will be finished, at the moment we’re estimating it will be after Notre Dame is rebuilt,” said Mr Cruck. “If Maccas wasn’t down the road then maybe we could get some work done.”

“Some say it’s half incomplete, we believe its half done,” Mr Cruck said. “The roadworks are Bendigo’s Notre Dame. These things take time just like the cathedrals rebuild. When it’s done it will be just as glorious.”

The upgrade is on track to be completed by June 30, 2037.
