The Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre was closed just hours after opening it’s doors to the public yesterday after a poo was discovered.
The floater was discovered by Elsie Baxter a Mother of 2 who was swimming with her two children. “I thought it was a Picnic chocolate bar but didn’t touch it as I have nut allergies.”
Staff were notified and the pool was closed as a health precaution.
The Bendigo Police Water Rescue team was sent in to investigate the item. SES was on hand to aid with gloves and tongs. It took 2 hours for the turd to be removed.
The SES weighed the item “It’s 2.3 kgs and the size of a 3-month-old baby’s leg.
The pool is currently being drained and cleaned out. The Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre is re-scheduled to be opened on January 2, 2030.
Crime Stoppers has offered a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the mystery pooper.
