Bendigo’s newest millionaire has told The Bendigo Standard he plans to fix Hargreaves Mall himself.
The builder and lucky duck said “The refurbishment 10 years ago cost $4 million. I thought ‘bugger it’, I reckon I could fix it myself for half of that.”
When asked about the councils red tape the mystery man said “I’m colour blind, I don’t know what that is.”
“My plans are to make it a bit less shit,” he said. “I’m going to roll out some grass, chuck in a big screen and put a roof over the top. I’m going to personally rent out one of the empty shops for the Mall Rats to hang out after school.”
The lucky S.O.B held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto last Saturday night.
Construction begins the second half of 2021.
