An annoyingly happy couple were spotted in front of the Bendigo sign in Rosalind Park today, not realising how infuriatingly cliche they were.
“This is the 10th pair of detestable schmoes I’ve seen here today,” an onlooker told The Bendigo Standard. “They’re acting like they’re the first people that thought of posing with the sign.”
It’s so rage-inducing that local business owners believe it’s responsible for the violence in the CBD. Locals think that there’s no consideration for the people driving past.
“They make me want to drive my car into the fountain,” a motorist said.
