Local Woman Convinced Fitted Sheets Don’t Want Folding

In a groundbreaking discovery that has sent shockwaves through the bedding world, Kangaroo Flat’s Sharon Smithington realized that fitted sheets are not designed to be folded.

Despite years of frustration and countless attempts at neatly folding her fitted sheets, Sharon has finally thrown in the towel and accepted the truth: fitted sheets are out to get her.

“They’re just too damn difficult,” Smithington told The Bendigo Standard, shaking her head in defeat. “I mean, why bother even trying? They don’t want to be folded.”

Sharon’s discovery has sparked outrage among the pro-folding community, who argue that fitted sheets can be folded with patience and finesse.

However, she firmly believes that fitted sheets are a lost cause and calls on others to join her in the fight against the “oppressive” practice of folding.

“I refuse to be a slave to my bedding any longer,” she declared. “From now on, I’m just going to crumple my sheets up in a ball and throw them in the closet like a normal person.”

Mrs Smithington’s bold stance has earned her a legion of supporters, with many taking to social media to voice their support for the #SayNoToFolding movement.

Despite the controversy, experts are still urging caution, warning that a failure to fold your sheets properly could result in unsightly wrinkles and creases.

But for Mrs Smithington and her fellow fitted sheet rebels, the benefits of a life free from the tyranny of folding are too great to ignore.
