Two feuding bell-ringers at Sacred Heart Cathedral have decided to end their 37-year-old feud and pull again.
The feud began back in 1982 when they argued over which tune they should use between Hells Bells by AC/DC or Mama Mia by Abba. The argument forced one of the men to quit and become a bell-ringer at St. Andrews church, until a couple of weeks ago.
The men reunited after hearing the bells were saved after Notre Dame burned down.
Both men are 5th generation bell-ringers.
“We want to bury the hatchet and just pull together again. We have a passion for ringing bells.”
