Days after being re-elected as Mayor, Margaret O’Rourke has resigned. In a shocking twist, Rod Fyffe’s Hair will serve as Mayor instead.
Just like the man himself, Rod Fyffe’s hair has a larger-than-life personality.
“I’ve been watching Dad since I was just a follicle and believe I’m up to the task. There a lot of problems with crime in Bendigo. It’s a hairy situation. I will straighten out this problem, rest a-sheared.”
Mr Fyffe’s hair has been a regular visitor to local hair dresser Curl up and dye hair salon for the past 30 years and recently celebrated his 100 cut. In the 60’s, his hair served in the Australian Hair Force and was also a Taxi Driver as he knew all the short cuts.
Rod Fyffe’s hair will be sworn in as new Mayor at the next council meeting.
