Local Apprentice Questions Naming of Blues And Roots Festival

in Bendigo News, Entertainment, Music

After a weekend packed with alcohol and live music a local apprentice was left disappointed after months of anticipation.

“Where were all the roots?” Jacob Taylor, 18, laughed. “I’ve heard so much about this festival, the guys at work said it was like one gigantic Tinder meet up, fueled with beer and music.” He continued. “It must have been a stitch up, I ironed my shirt and everything”.

The festival is said to attract thousands of people across the weekend, showcasing both local and international talent. “I guess it’s somewhat true to its name, I’ve definitely got the blues.

I’ll be paying for those 17 craft beers I had well into next year, but I hope someone out there ended up getting a root.” he chuckled.
