In a desperate attempt to achieve his life-long dream of becoming a TV star, 27-year-old Tim Grimes has been driving like a complete idiot in the hope that he will be caught by the Highway Patrol and featured on the popular TV show.
In a society where reality TV is king, it’s unsurprising that people will go to great lengths to get their 15 minutes of fame.
“I’ve been a huge fan of the Highway Patrol TV show for years,” said Tim in an exclusive interview with The Bendigo Standard. “I’ve always dreamed of being featured on the show doing something crazy and having my driving skills analyzed by the experts.”
However, Tim’s plan has not gone according to plan. Despite his best efforts, the Highway Patrol has yet to catch him in the act, and he has not received a single call from the show’s producers.
“It’s frustrating,” said Tim. “I’ve been doing everything possible to get noticed, but nothing seems to work. I even started driving with my eyes closed, which made people angry, and I almost got into a few accidents.”
Despite the setbacks, Tim remains hopeful that one day he will be discovered and finally achieve his dream.
However, Grimes is undeterred, “I’ve even started practising my mugshot.”
